We had a leak in our upstairs shower and contacted Smart Sealed who claim to regrout and seal the shower thereby fixing the leak. They say that they do a check before starting work to ascertain whether the leak is in the pipes or from the actual shower and that if it is the pipes they do not take on the work and that if it is from the shower they seal and fix it.
They came to the house, "checked" the leak, told me that it was coming from the shower and that the seal they used would fix the leak.
Not only did this process not fix the leak, but the tradesman cracked a number of the tiles in the shower. Added to this the seal leaves a matt film over the tiles that never comes off and leaves the tiles dull and dusty.
When I phoned to tell them about the cracked tiles I got abused by the receptionist and told that I was lying. I also told them that the leak was not fixed and they were not interested. The upshot of the experience was that I had to get in a plumber who detected the leak and the $600 I paid to these ******** was a total waste of money. And I have never been able to get the dusty film off the tiles.
Beware of these people who are running a ****!
