From the very first day I 'picked' up my Chery I have been very disappointed with it... I only made a 250km trip and it did not start the very next day! It was a faulty relay switch... then it happened again 2 weeks later! Into the workshop for a new one. Then all the instrument panel stopped working so that needed fixing. I have had a new throtle body put on as I had no acceleration at all when depressing the accelerator. It still labours in a high gear when it should change down. Obviously a fault with Automatics! I was told by a Miedecke mechanic that the gear box in the Chery's was not very good! LOL! Anyway they sold me an anti-rust protection device that sits on the motor and 'supposedly' stops RUST on the car... ha that's a joke my brand new car only 8 mths old at the time showed rust all over in areas where bolts and screws are. They said that the device they sold me would only work on areas where the paint was thick enough and was told that parts of the car only had 1 coat. This is totally unexceptable for a brand new car! Anyway I really don't know how they are going to fix this problem without a total respray with taking it appart! NOT HAPPY JAN!
