One year ago (mid 08), Data S Trading tried to debit my ANZ credit card the amount of $5,000 with my permission. ANZ realised there was something wrong with this company and retrieved the money with my permission. At the time, I didn't realise this and thought that I had lost my money.
In May 09, a man who claimed to be called Rob Morgan called me saying that he was trying to help ex customers from Data S Trading retrieve their money. The suggestion was to come across from to their new company for the simple fee of $395 administrative fees to find that lost money. I signed a form that said the 395 would be refunded if no money is retrieved. They did their research and found out that ANZ had not let the transaction go through. At this point, I just wanted my money back. Despite this, the company insisted on me paying more money (10K) When I told them that I wasn't interested and wanted to speak to the director to have my money reimbursed. I was told that I had to go through other channels before speaking to the director. I asked for the director's name and contact details and was hung up on by "Rob Morgan'.
